    Divisions

      • Family (2, 3, or 4-person team multi-generation team with at least one racer under 18 years old)

    • Bike: 24-36 miles
    • Trek/Orienteering/Land Navigation: 8-13 miles
    • Paddle: 6-10 miles

    30-hr

    • Bike: 65-85 miles
    • Trek/Orienteering/Land Navigation: 18-25 miles
    • Paddle: 16-25 miles

    Race Series

    • Wisconsin Adventure Racing Series
      • All three races are part of the Wisconsin Adventure Racing Series, Wisconsin’s premier race series featuring adventure races throughout WI, MN, and IL, with cash prizes totaling over $2,000. There is no fee to join the series, simply race any of the events and you’ll be automatically signed up. The more races your team competes in, the better chance you’ll have of taking home prizes. Compete in teams of 2-4, or as a soloist, and see how you rank against others in the Midwest.
    • USARA
      • USARA National Championship Points. All three races are part of the United States Adventure Racing Association (USARA) National Points Series.
      • The 30-Hour Stubborn Mule is a USARA Regional Championship.
        • Free entry to the National Championship for the winning team in the Coed Premier category
        • Five bonus points to all teams in the National Point Series
        • Live tracking with instant leaderboard

    • June 24, 12:00 p.m. Pre-race briefing.   Format will be a video recording.
    • June 25, 5:00 a.m.   12-hour and 30-hour check-in, receive course instructions.
    • June 25, 6:15 a.m. 12-hour final briefing. 
    • June 25, 6:30 a.m. 12-hour race start.
    •  June 25, 6:45 a.m.  30-hour final briefing.
    • June 25, 7:00 a.m.  30-hour race start. 
    • June 25, 10:30 a.m. 5-hour check-in, receive course instructions. 
    • June 25, 11:45 a.m.  5-hour final briefing.  
    • June 25, 12:00 p.m. 5-hour race start. 
    • June 25, 5:00 p.m. 5-hour race finish + post-race celebration (food and drink).

    Entry Fees

    Race fees include t-shirt, land use fees, maps, rental boats (including paddles and pfds), SportIdent ePunch timing, post-race food and drink, prizes, give-a-ways, and…. a weekend of racing on a brand new course!

    Super Early registration (by January 10)

    • 5-Hour: $70/racer
    • 12-Hour: $140/racer
    • 30-Hour:  $240/racer

    Early registration (by April 15)

    • 5-Hour: $80/racer
    • 12-Hour: $150/racer
    • 30-Hour:  $250/racer

    Regular registration (by June 1)

    • 5-Hour: $90/racer
    • 12-Hour: $160/racer
    • 30-Hour:  $260/racer

    Late registration (by June 15)

    • 5-Hour: $100/racer
    • 12-Hour: $170/racer
    • 30-Hour: $270/racer

    Additional Fees

    • 12-hour and 30-hour races only:  each racer must have a USARA license. Licenses are $8 for a single day, or $35 for an annual.  Purchase your annual ($35) or single day ($8) membership at this link: https://runsignup.com/usara. When purchasing a single day membership, be sure to set your membership start date as race day: 06/25/2022.

    Refund Policy 

    Teams may cancel their registration by emailing us directly to coordinate refunds. Refunds will be based on the published entry fees and will not include Run Sign Up fees. Teams looking to transfer their entry to another team may do so, but teams are responsible for coordinating finances themselves and then communicating the team change to us directly.

    • Full refund: Through April 15, 2022. Minus registration fees.
    • Partial refund (75%): Through May 1, 2022. Minus registration fees.
    • Partial refund (50%): Through June 1, 2022. Minus registration fees.
    • No refund: After June 1, 2022
